Guest reviews of Palm Beach Condos 108

I have been to the island 5 times previous (staying in differing hotels) and Palm Beach 108 was by far and away the best!

Carolyn (who we booked with) was very helpful and it gave me great comfort to know that if called upon she would respond as a matter of urgency, also met the owner who was really friendly and set the tone for the whole holiday.

The party consisted of 3 adults and children aged 15, 10 and 6.

The apartment was lovely and the fact that there was 3 large bathrooms meant no queuing for the showers (which is unheard of in my house !).

Internal Facilities – Huge apartment fitted us with comfort – plenty of room to spare, lots of storage space (including walk in wardrobes in the bedroom) and really was a fantastic setting….everything you could want.

External Facilities – Lovely 3 tiered pool which accommodated small children without having to spoil it for adults who wanted a swim as they would use the deeper tier. Close to beach (which is just behind the pool), which also has a lovely manmade lagoon where you can snorkle with the fish…also the highlight was watching the turtles hatch and make their way to the sea !!. I’m informed that theres also a great gym…but I’ll have to take my partners word on that ! 🙂 .

Location – Walking distance to Garrison & Boardwalk. Close ZR/Bus stop will take you to Bridgetown in minutes or Oistins etc – Fab.

I will be recommending to all my friends and family, definitely will return – this was a better experience than any hotel I have stayed with previously.

Simply stunning setting, only downside was that we had to leave 🙁

Wow, what am amazing place in a perfect location. Our first time to Barbados – to meet our son after he rowed across the Atlantic. I spent days looking at different accommodation and believe I chose the best! Extremely well equipped, the apartment had a great feel. It was lovely to meet Gary when we arrived and I’m sure we will be back.

Thank you Tanya, Gary and Carolyn for making our stay at Palm Beach 108 so wonderful. We traveled with our boats from Seaview, Isle of Wight and had 5 days of racing and fantastic hospitality from the Barbados Yacht Club. This condo was absolutely perfect and a peaceful oasis from the bustle of Barbados life. Perfect in every way!

Guest reviews Tamarind Cottage

Tamarind Cottage sits 100 feet back and 20 feet up from the beach, in a dense patch of lush greenery, allowing the cottage beautiful sea views, but with privacy and wonderful breezes. The design is simple and unadorned: coral stone, pickled wood and white ceramic tile. Best architectural feature: the sea-side veranda that opens up the entire west elevation of the cottage. Advantage that can’t be duplicated: Diana and her amazing Bajan cooking and sense of fun. This is our second visit to Tamarind Cottage; we note (and applaud) that the appliances are being upgraded. We look forward to returning to this charming vacation cottage.

A rustic yet charming villa set 50 metres from a very quiet beach. We loved sitting on the terrace in lush greenery with views of the beach. Diana the made was great and cooked for us three times as well as looked after the villa. There are several beach bars (including Lone Star) and fish market within easy walking distance. The appliances had been updated but it is slightly shabby chic. However, we had a 100% fantastic week and loved it.

Guest Reviews Seawards Villa

We chose Seawards Villa for the location and amenities offered and we were not disappointed. It was practical and convenient, a perfect house on the beach!

The cook and housekeeper were great and provided excellent service. If we had to be critical we would say that some of the furniture should be replaced or mended (cupboards in the bedrooms/bathrooms).

We stayed for 3 weeks and wish we had stayed longer.

Guest Reviews Terraces 402

The Terraces apartment #402 is a very comfortable upper floor apartment in an ideal area of Dover, near to St. Lawrence Gap. The Caribbean is viewable from the balcony and two wonderful beaches are a short walk away. My family (of 5 adults) spent 11 nights in this “homey” space and we had a FABULOUS time. This apartment has three very roomy and comfortable bedrooms and a very functional kitchen. Though there is music playing many nights across the street at a local bar, my family and I felt this was an integral part of the Barbados experience and we enjoyed being a part of this vibrant community. There are many good restaurants within walking distance of this property and a handy market across the street. We would stay in this property again, and would highly recommend it to anyone who was going to Barbados.

We stayed at Terraces 402 for ten days in January and loved the apartment. It is large, airy, well furnished and spotlessly clean. The living room and master bedroom have huge windows which open up onto a beautiful terrace. We had all our meals out there. In the evenings it is lovely and cool and very romantic.

The apartment is a few minutes walk from Dover beach, our favourite beach. There is a supermarket just across the road and Lawrence Gap with restaurants and bars. The only drawback is the Gap Bar across the road which plays very loud music till the early hours of the morning at the weekend which can be a nuisance. Carolyn was very helpful with our booking, renting a car and providing us with groceries. She also gave us advice when needed and called us during our stay to see if everything was going ok. A memorable holiday.

Guest Reviews Jamoon Villa

We all had an incredible time at Jamoon and everything went seamless – the welcome drinks, the meals, the wine and bed delivery, airport transport etc… Jamoon is an incredible villa and we loved the open feeling and space and the way the living room opened to the pool.

Having our meals outside surrounded by the gardens was amazing. The meals were fantastic, beautifully presented and such a varied menu, and the wine selection also was outstanding.

The location was ideal as we were able to walk to Holetown often, jog around the neighbourhood and walk to tennis and the beach at the Sandy Lane resort. Roland and Willie from Emmanuel tours are highly professional, reliable and are very knowledgeable. We used them for trips to the Flower Cave, Bathsheba, St Lawrence Gap, and the Fish Fry at Oistins.

We would absolutely come back to the lovely friendly island of Barbados and would definitely stay at Jamoon. It was truly one of the best family vacations we have had. Next time we would all bring much less clothing as the laundry was done each day.
The internet connection was very spotty but Sherianne did her best to help. It was a bit of a problem for some needing the computer for work and often we went to the Beach House for the free wifi (they also have amazing drinks and food).

I would highly recommend Jamoon and the staff that work there. We had the most amazing vacation.

Guest Reviews Easy Reach villa

Travelling for a good friend’s 40th celebration, 9 of us took both properties for the week (Easy Reach and Sunset Reach), we stayed at Easy Reach. Clambering out of the air-conditioned mini bus which met us at the airport, Marilyn opened the side gate onto the deck and our jaws hit the floor! The huge ocean front deck was simply stunning! Inside, the rustic, beach hut style was finished to the highest standards and the bedrooms were cool, comfy and very spacious. With the ocean lapping at the door, and Mullins Beach Bar a slow amble down the white sands, what could be better. The team who looked after us, cleaned up, cooked our food and made us all laugh could not have been more welcoming. We all fell in love with the place and first day’s talk was of “if we sold everything, how long could we stay” variety. You must be aware that there is a busy road to the rear of the building but if you can’t filter out a bit of road noise…….Night time security is provided on site but we never felt uncomfortable on the island. The locals are brilliant, helpful and friendly. Use the local buses, travel the island and visit the rum shacks! Karaoke with Karen and Wayne at the Golden Anchor is terrific! Have a boat trip with the guys at Malibu Watersports. Go to St Nicholas Abbey. If funds permit, eat at The Cliff. In short, if I’d had my wits about me, I WOULD have sold everything and just stayed. My only complaint was having to leave.
