Set in spectacular tropical gardens on a quiet beach beside the Caribbean Sea, Mango Bay has been described as one of the most beautiful houses in Barbados.

This colonial-styled natural coral stone home was designed by Oliver Messel and has been lovingly maintained.  The tasteful, formal living room flows on to a gracious patio, inviting guests to linger over gorgeous views of the tropical gardens and the Caribbean Sea beyond.  Paths lead to the charming dining gazebo on the seaside and to a picturesque lily pond.  Guests may also choose to dine in the elegant dining pavilion with its beautiful coral stone table which seats fourteen and overlooks the swimming pool and garden.

Mango Bay features 7 air-conditioned bedrooms and 8 bathrooms spread across the property, with one bedroom located within the enchanting cottage located on the southern lawn. There are two master suites upstairs plus a third bedroom, all with king size beds and terraces. There is a Nanny’s Room near the pool with a single bed. The separate cottage features two bedrooms and has its own private entrance.

The enchanting cottage with its own private entrance is set back on the extensive southern lawn and offers two air-conditioned bedrooms with king size beds.

For quiet relaxation, the study houses the villa’s only TV, a DVD player, computer, printer, fax and an extensive library.

The swimming pool measures 31’x 15′ and is 3-1/2′  deep at the shallow end and 6′ at the deep end.

The villa has a staff compliment of 8, to include a butler/head of house, an assistant butler, cook/chef, laundress, housekeeper, gardener night watchman and groundskeeper.

Mango Bay is conveniently located in St. James, between Holetown and Speightstown, with the closest hotels being Glitter Bay and the Royal Pavillon just a five minute drive away.  The world famous Sandy Lane, Royal Westmoreland and Apes Hill golf courses are also within a short drive.
