The Sandpiper is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World and, together with their sister hotel, the Coral Reef Club, are the only family owned and managed luxury resorts on the island.
Accommodations include Garden Rooms, One and Two Bedroom Suites and two new Tree Top Suites. The Tree Top Suites are the Sandpiper's premier accommodations.
All rooms at The Sandpiper have been individually decorated and appointed, and have wall safes, CD player/clock radios, fridges, toasters and hair dryers. Bathrooms have combination shower and tub.
The Sandpiper offers a range of facilities, including internet access, watersports, an elegant restaurant, bar and lounge, entertainment, fitness centre and hairdressing salon at The Coral Reef Club.
Guests can play golf at the Tom Fazzio designed Sandy Lane golf course and also have access to the exclusive Robert Trent Jones Jnr. designed golf course - the Royal Westmoreland.
Children are welcome at The Sandpiper, except from 15 January to 15 March when under 12 years cannot be accommodated. A special summer family programme has been designed for all children between the ages of 2 and 12 years.
Nanny and babysitting services are available, as well as a children's room service dinner between 5:30 and 7:30pm.

The Sandpiper will be closed for annual refurbishment and staff holidays for the following dates: 18 August - 10 October 2007
Children under 16 years cannot occupy a room alone. This does not apply to communicating rooms. Children under 12 years cannot be accommodated between 15 January and 15 March. Children under 5 years of age are not allowed in the restaurant or lounge after 7 p.m.
CANCELLATION AND “NO SHOW” POLICY:- It is recommended tht guests take out insurance against possible cancellation charges. In cases of ‘No Shows’ or cancellations within 28 days of arrival during the winter (excluding Christmas), and within 14 days of arrival during the summer, a charge of 3 nights room rate will be imposed. Between 15 December 2005 and 10 January 2006 a charge of 7 nights room rate will be imposed. In the case of early check-outs, the full charge is applied to any cancelled nights of a confirmed reservation. If the accommodation is re-let for the full period of the booking, there will be no charge.
