 Only an exclusive few are privileged to experience the pleasure afforded by a stay at Crystal Springs, one of Barbados' most spectacular beachfront estates.
Located on 1.7 acres, this charming home consists of 8 bedroom suites: 3 bedrooms in the main house, 2 in the adjoining annex (a 'bridge' spans the natural water course that bisects the property) and 3 others in cottages on the grounds.
First constructed in the 1940s, Crystal Springs was redesigned by Oliver Messel in the 1960s and the current owners have faithfully maintained the characteristically theatrical ambiance.
There are three bedrooms in the main house; the master bedroom has a four poster king size bed with ensuite bathroom, tub/shower, a single vanity and a bidet. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have twin beds that can be made into a king, ensuite bathrooms with shower only. Two bedrooms are in the Annex, with twin beds that can be converrted to a king, ensuite bathrooms, single vanity, one bathroom has tub/shower while the other is shower only. Two bedrooms in the Pavilion have twin beds that can be converted to a king, ensuite bathroom, shower only and single vanity. The Cottage has one bedroom with king size bed, ensuite bathrooms one with shower only and the other tub/shower, single vanity.
Most bedrooms are equippped with small fridges and electric kettles. Security safes are in each bedroom.
Guests are looked after by a full staff, supervised by a villa manager, including a butler, cook, maids, laundress, night watchman and boatman.
Full rate rentals include the use of a 18 ft speed boat equipped for waterskiing, Donuts, Mable, Kneeboarding and Wakeboarding; a sunfish sailboat; a separate home theatre and a mini-gym. A 30ft Boston Whaler is available at an additional cost for cruising and deep sea fishing at an additional cost.
